Religious/secular day and my three favorite films

Films:
1- Mr. Nobody
2- Apocalypto
3- 500 of summer
Religious or secular day
My secular (sacred) day is Christmas. On Christmas my family gets together and enjoys each other. We cook and bake for this special day. For my mother, this is special day to celebrate Jesus birthday, but for the rest of the family this day is just a justification to cook, drink, dance, watch movies, play board games, and catch up. But when the clock reach midnight, my mother makes us pray the rosary, and she wakes us up with a pinch if any of us fall to sleep. The next day, my mother wakes us all up with a hot atole (hot beverage made of sugar cane, corn flour, and water).

Celestial model and Sacred Centers

celestial Model:

  Moisesmeans draw from water

Moises is considered a religious leader according to the Hebrew bible and Qur’an.

Moises Austin played an important part in the development of the American lead industrial.

My family named me because the name has been passed down through generation, and my family is catholic.

Sacred Center

My sacred center is my house and any place where I spend time with my family. I like to plan BBQ, movie nights, and pizza party for any reason, and spend a quality time with my family. My family is extremely important for me.

My room is my second is a sacred place because is the place where I found my true self and recognize my triumphs and defeat during the day. This place is where I can find peace and talk to myself and do whatever I please.

The River

In the song “the River” Bruce Springsteen use the symbols and archetype of sexuality, sacred marriage, and bond to express the theme of decision making can alter one’s life. According to Bruce Springsteen “We'd go down to the river, /And into the river we'd dive/Oh down to the river we'd ride/Then I got Mary pregnant” (“the River” par. 2-3).
Married after getting pregnant may lead to a horrible marriage: “No wedding day smiles no walk down the aisle/ No flowers no wedding dress” (Springsteen par.3).
Most people use symbols of bonding, which “include the cord, the knot, and the ring” (Stevens. 316).

Ariadne's Quotes

Interesting "the thread (sutra) is describe as linking  'this world to the oder and all beings'. The thread is both atman (self) and prana (breath) and is linked to the central point in the cosmos, the sun. It is wirtten that the thread must 'in all things be followed back to its source' (Chevalier and Cheerbrant) ( pg 4)

Insightful: "everything that constitutes a core experience of human life -  has been put into symbol and tales which, for all their manifold variety. often share striking resemblances to one another, where on this planet they have been brought into being. Symbolism is language that transcends race, geography, and time. It is the natural Esperanto of humanity." (pg. 17)

Confusing: "Myths and ritual involving immersion in water (baptism), purification (lustration)  the deluge (the flood), the submersion of lost continents (Atlantis), the dissolution  of the oldest order and the precipitation of the new (the stories of Noah and of Deucalion, or of Armageddon and the Apocalypse), all fit together so as to 'make up a symbolic system which in a sense pre-existed them all'.

The dream that I had

In my dreams I see myself flying around the world. At the beginning I cannot fly, but after drinking a redbull I can fly around the world. When I am flying, I go to different countries as China, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil, but the country I liked most is Mexico because it is the country where I born. After I visit all the countries that I like, I woke up wishing that my dreams were true.
