The River

In the song “the River” Bruce Springsteen use the symbols and archetype of sexuality, sacred marriage, and bond to express the theme of decision making can alter one’s life. According to Bruce Springsteen “We'd go down to the river, /And into the river we'd dive/Oh down to the river we'd ride/Then I got Mary pregnant” (“the River” par. 2-3).

Married after getting pregnant may lead to a horrible marriage: “No wedding day smiles no walk down the aisle/ No flowers no wedding dress” (Springsteen par.3).

Most people use symbols of bonding, which “include the cord, the knot, and the ring” (Stevens. 316).

Interesting "the thread (sutra) is describe as linking  'this world to the oder and all beings'. The thread is both atman (self) and prana (breath) and is linked to the central point in the cosmos, the sun. It is wirtten that the thread must 'in all things be followed back to its source' (Chevalier and Cheerbrant) ( pg 4)

Confusing: "Myths and ritual involving immersion in water (baptism), purification (lustration)  the deluge (the flood), the submersion of lost continents (Atlantis), the dissolution  of the oldest order and the precipitation of the new (the stories of Noah and of Deucalion, or of Armageddon and the Apocalypse), all fit together so as to 'make up a symbolic system which in a sense pre-existed them all'.

The dream that I had

In my dreams I see myself flying around the world. At the beginning I cannot fly, but after drinking a redbull I can fly around the world. When I am flying, I go to different countries as China, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil, but the country I liked most is Mexico because it is the country where I born. After I visit all the countries that I like, I woke up wishing that my dreams were true.
