Religious/secular day and my three favorite films

Films:
1- Mr. Nobody
2- Apocalypto
3- 500 of summer
Religious or secular day
My secular (sacred) day is Christmas. On Christmas my family gets together and enjoys each other. We cook and bake for this special day. For my mother, this is special day to celebrate Jesus birthday, but for the rest of the family this day is just a justification to cook, drink, dance, watch movies, play board games, and catch up. But when the clock reach midnight, my mother makes us pray the rosary, and she wakes us up with a pinch if any of us fall to sleep. The next day, my mother wakes us all up with a hot atole (hot beverage made of sugar cane, corn flour, and water).

It shows  the transition of death and rebirth. The idea that after winter, spring comes, and it represent the rebirth of life through the bloom of new leaves in the tries, flower bloom, and birds start to sing.
